i have the all-plastic keyless go smart key, and it's fairly light considering its size. I've seen the chromed upgrade and I have no idea why anyone would want to have that in their pocket. I've seen "chicks dig it" as a reason (i guess because it's shiny?), but I can state without qualification that I am not interested in a "chick" that is impressed by a car key. ![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
i want one that's impressed by the damn car!![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)

yes the chrome upgrade looks nicer, but it's still just a car key. i really don't think any one catching a glimpse of my plain black plastic key will think any less of me.
And I promise you this: if anyone EVER says to me "nice car, ugly key" , or even just "ugly key", I will be right back here to post it.

it costs about 50 $ or less
and the other one, silver amg logo ( to order: B66957154)

it about the same price as the other, only it won't be available for long time, they stopped producing these and are selling what's left of their stock ...

I had this exact one and lost it! I was soo pi$$ed off. Mine was solid brushed aluminum thought. So clean.

Saw it on "clearance" at a dealership while I was picking up some coolant. Can't remember exactly how much it was, but somewhere under $20 after tax. The two little buttons have stubs that go into the main rectangular part and have the key rings on the outside. The overall look is simple but attractive - very German, think Heidi Klum![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
The construction is VERY solid and I'm not sure but I think that it'd be near indestructible, short of melting it. It's deceivingly hefty, but I regularly run with it in my shorts pocket without a problem.
Anyway, I've seen it at a different MB dealership since, MB of Hoffman Estates, if you're interested.

Even though it's cool, I like to keep my keys very slim in my pocket so it doesn't bug me. I have the car key, house key, mailbox key, and office key, that's it. Same thing with my wallet, it's one of the slim style ones that doesn't have 18 different pockets.
