Nice AMG or Mercedes Benz keychain to go with Keyfob?
So im new the the AMG game as you can see from my number of posts.
And I just picked up a '05 C55 and am wondering what i should hang off of my keyfob. i want something nice, simple, and clean. like a MBZ, or AMG, logo of some sort, but i cant find of those suckers any ANYWHERE! Ebay was full of wack *** keychains. and the dealership would probably charge me up the *** for one. What you guys hang off of your key fobs? suggestions?

welcome to the forum and congrats on the new car!
on one of my keys, i have a a keychain with an MB logo on one side, and my dealerships info on the back (obviously got it for free).
on the key i use, i have all of my keys. house, pool, apartment, door, and gym scanning pass thing.

no thanks, that was exactly what i was kinda hoping people would do :P unfortunately i want to keep my household keys separate from the MB keys someone in my household needs to take my car thats why i just wanna put a simple good looking keychain. anyone know where i can get something like this?

at mercedes you can order 2 kinds, i have both... since the car has 2 keys 
first is one with leather ( to order at mb dealership: B66037327 )
it costs about 50 $ or less
and the other one, silver amg logo ( to order: B66957154)
it about the same price as the other, only it won't be available for long time, they stopped producing these and are selling what's left of their stock ...

I like this one i think i might try giving MB a call :P the silver one is all over ebay but the downside is that its 4" long! try having that in your pocket..

same here, my house keys are on their own key ring, and the benz key chills by itsself... i hate having stuff hang down and tickle my knee while i'm driving... its weird almost like having a fly in the car and not being able to get it out.

Saw it on "clearance" at a dealership while I was picking up some coolant. Can't remember exactly how much it was, but somewhere under $20 after tax. The two little buttons have stubs that go into the main rectangular part and have the key rings on the outside. The overall look is simple but attractive - very German, think Heidi Klum
The construction is VERY solid and I'm not sure but I think that it'd be near indestructible, short of melting it. It's deceivingly hefty, but I regularly run with it in my shorts pocket without a problem.
Anyway, I've seen it at a different MB dealership since, MB of Hoffman Estates, if you're interested.

i have the all-plastic keyless go smart key, and it's fairly light considering its size. I've seen the chromed upgrade and I have no idea why anyone would want to have that in their pocket. I've seen "chicks dig it" as a reason (i guess because it's shiny?), but I can state without qualification that I am not interested in a "chick" that is impressed by a car key.
i want one that's impressed by the damn car!
