Hey whats up

I know this is a long shot but, I have my car at the dealer for some service work and I asked them to add this feature.
They just called me and told me they cannot find it.
Is there a mod number for this that I can tell them?

hmm.....well i know it tells you approximately how many miles you have left (range) but i also do know that is a rough approximate. i think i've driven at least 10+ miles when my range was on "0 miles"

if you figure out how this is done, let us know

So it shows gallons left to E vice estimated miles to E? Interesting.

Driving 80+ miles a day in a RWD V8....I dont know why anyone would care to the 1/10th how much gas they have-in the winter-dont let it drop below half a tank-in the summer-1/4 tank......
but yes, I've seen another C55 with this feature-wasnt all that impressed as the owner at the time

Passive TPMS is also a good mod to have.

yeah letting it go to E is not a god thing. i alwas go when the light comes on
letting the car go close to 3 to 6 miles can starve the fuel pump. This happened to another C32 i knew whose owner shrugged off filling up the car at the yellow.

That's correct. It's a version coding thing. I had NLBenz turn it on awhile back, along with tire monitoring, active fog lights and a lower radiator fan setting.

Tire monitor? The rims dont have TPMS sensors in them-hows that work?

Passive system based on the ABS/ESP wheel sensors AFAIK. Lower tire pressure = different wheel speed because of tire circumference.

hmmm...sounds like a recp for resets when it comes new tire time-
I had TPMS on my last 3 cars and honestly-(1) dont see the point-check your tires every week or 2 and (2) was annoying-especially come track day with diff rim set ups....kinda glad the C doesnt have it

I've had it activated for awhile now and no false alarms, only one actual alarm when a tire went flat suddenly.

I added a Hella TPM to the wife's Audi and so far no false positives for that either.

I hate to bring up and old thread, but better than making a new one I guess...

Any update on this, I have the STAR diagnostic system but I do not knnow how to turn on the Fuel Content so I can see how many gallons of gas I have...or if its even possible on the C32, I know its possible on the C55.

Any one have any idea? Also, what the fan mod?
