noob here.

so i've been searching (in the rare event that it works) and it looks like the 185mm requires a fuel pump upgrade as to not run lean up top. is this correct? am i better off just going with a c3 supercharger pulley or 178mm pulley for safety?

YO DINGLEBERRY! J/k ,
No fuel pump needed. Just a custom tune for the 185 and ideally, a custom dyno tune. You can have LET/Eurocharged put a tune on your ECU for the 185 or you can rent their remote tuning kit in which they send you the kit, you go to a dyno, hook up the kit to a laptop and they will remotely tune your car from your dyno runs.

I have a 185, was running a little lean and then did a dyno tune from LET. I'm no longer running lean.

Also of upmost importance is upgrading your cooling mods to compensate for all the extra heat the 185 will generate. Without a Heat Exchanger upgrade, I wouldn't run a 185. Along with all this is getting an upgraded intake so you can suck more air as well.

Good Luck! It's soooooooo worth it!
Plus the people at LET/Eurcharged are great guys.

REQUIRED:
1) tune is a must to go WOT with a 185. its unsafe otherwise.

Highly Recommended:
1) Heat Exchanger - wont see potential full power without it

Recommended:
1) step cold spark plugs for the extra boost/power
2) an intake would be helpful to improve the air flow up top or else it might choke, but its not really required.
3) Separate coolant circuit

Wouldnt Hurt:
1) upgraded IC Pump
2) -10 fan mod
3) tstat (assuming you separate your coolant circuit)
