awesome. i always wondered when someone would port the heads on c32, i always thought that with c32's pathetic stock headers, amg left a little bit of room to improve the motor. being that the the heads are unchanged from c320, correct? and with pullies, pushing 17 maybe more psi. 400rwhp it would be a strong motor and i could believe it. i always wondered about porting the heads and some valve work, and then custom fabbing bigger throttle body and custom fabricate the induction path, but of coures no money. please keep us updated, nice project you got going there.

for those cars with chip and pully, does adding headers or the port and polish require a new tuning of the chip?

You don't need ECU re-tuning. A/F mixture ratio won't change signifcantly by adding headers or by porting the engine. It only frees up restriction of the exhaust.

A/F ratios would change if you added more boost or more fuel (overdrive pullies or larger fuel injectors); that would necessitate remapping the ECU. Otherwise, the engine would run lean (very bad) or rich (bad).

so what you are saying is that a car with pullies and/or chip needs a remapping of the ECU in order to properly run with headers and not create a rich/lean condition? Anyone else care to comment as well?
