searchhhhhhhhhhhhhh
tires will get you under 5. 0-60 means nothing btw if you are thinking thats how to determine how fast the car is. 0-60 also reflects quite heavily on traction and gearing
trap speed in the 1/4mile is a true measurement of how "fast" your car is
what mods?
see my sig

I like to run around town and race from light to light is about it...Just curious as to what inexpensive mods I could add to better my 0-60 time for short runs..

Del Sol & CRX LS/VTEC turbo
Some super sticky tires will help... R-compound thats what you want!
But make sure you have another set ready to be mounted when you pass up 5,000 miles.

yes. i would say stock is 5-ish, though generally, the car testers and car manufacturers generally report the best achieved numbers (though not always the case as seen in with the hp numbers in an E55 vs SL55)

Yeah if you have all-season tires on there, you will definitely notice a difference from good summer tires. That's your best bet.

My STOCK 04, ran 4.95-4.98 ALL DAY long with teh stock Pirelli's
After K/N's she was around 4.85-4.90
After Bridegstone 050 PP's, 4.75-4.85
Something is wrond my friend, assuming you have a decent rear tire.

PS: It's been awhile, so you can check my previous posts for the above times. Was going from memory, but us old folk sometimes confuse things

OT: A Quaife LSD will help with launches, but only after better tires and learning good technique. These cars already have the power to be quicker; getting that power to the ground is the problem.

Do you run in dyno mode? I can't get the least bit sideways without the ESP shutting down the fun and making me look like a noob.

yeah, a limited slip would be awsome, but it's also one of the more cost prohibitive mods for me. Not only the part, but labor's going to be a pretty penny too. Although I've done a lot of work on cars, I've never touched a rear differental.
Hey Josh, you shoud get a new .gif file with Jamie Pressley licking Hooley's Button.
