Hooley's Blackout project
I've decided to under take a blackout project I just got my car back to day and I think the work looks rather good, It will take some getting use to for sure. Next step is blacking out all the badges then see If my lady will let me do the chrome trim.
Also the as you can see my car is back from the body shop. The work looks flawless.

I love the black grill and have been thinking about doing that. I've darkened my sidemarkers also and love it. IMO, this looks best on a black car. Props for taking the plunge and trying this

I'd ditch the Renntech badge at least. Then, maybe, both of the others if you really want to clean things up. After all, the quad pipes and the s/c whine will do all the talking for you. Looks nice!

lol.....love the comments on the many badges....he also has a HUGE dynocomp sticker on his front windshield which you can see in sig if you look carefully and a dynocomp badge on each side near where the V6 kompressor badges go on the C32.
mike.....your GF has told you you have too many badges and you are ruining the symmetry. looks like some of the guys agree (but don't tell her that)
if you're going to change it, i say leave C55 on the left by itself, and either keep the AMG on the right, or replace it with the Renntech. Not both. IMO

I would get rid of the Renntech badge and add "K" after the C55, and keep the AMG. Subtle, yet meaningful for those in the know......and curious for those who aren't.
