First off, thanks so much for everyone's assistance over the years. I hardly ever post, but I've learned a ton from you all. Someday I'll have something worth contributing
Anyway...'03 C32, 39K miles, losing coolant, so I cracked the aluminum intake covers. Sure enough, its looking pretty nasty down there, just like everyone else's pics. I need a replacement intercooler. I have a line on a Code3 intercooler, but would probably rather just get a new stock one. Where is the best place to locate a new intercooler? And what's the going rate for one?
Thanks in advance.

you sure its the intercooler? it also might be the radiator. the 02-03 c32 tend to have leaky radiators. I would double check if i were you. its a lot cheaper to replace the radiator then the intercooler.
Thanks for the links! parts.com is already cheaper than the one I had found.
I'm pretty sure its the intercooler - the covered-in-slime intake runners would seem to be a pretty good indication. That, and I havent noticed coolant leaking on the ground anywhere.

When I've ordered from Parts.com, it's always come from some MB dealer in Illinois.Originally Posted by ivebenzgood

How does a leaky rad make your valve covers get gunked upOriginally Posted by TemjinX2

If all else fails, PM Mister Brenton. He gets MB parts at VERY good prices.

it's about as rude/annoying as you ignoring the advice of others and then bumping other threads pointlessly.Originally Posted by andya34

find a new mechanic. it's an air to water intercooler, therefore coolAnt flows through it.Originally Posted by andya34
