Glad to hear you're still bitin-gnawing-clawing @ this krazzee project
Rob you are going big, keep pushing ahead.
Its late and I need to get some sleep, but now Cruzinquick (Evan) is headed over to borrow my slicks, so I got to wait up for him. Got to help out AMG guys even if its late.

I'm still here. I decided to put a brand new E55 engine instead of swapping a used E55 and unpredictable engine in it. I'm just trying to figure out if the Kleemann or OEM Blower would be better. They are exactly the same size and dimensions but I'm leaning on keeping the Kleemann.
Everything from the block to the pistons and rods are brand new from AMG Germany but assembled here at a dedicated MB engine builder. It will have some custom reinforced internals to handle twin-turbos down the road so the Kleemann and OEM blower will both have to go soon. Engine should be ready to drop in by Friday of next week latest and final tuning done. It will need some time to break in a brand new engine but the strenghtened internals should allow me to push 25+psi either through SC or TT.
btw... Anybody interested in a C55 block for $500? You can bore it out to 5.7 like Havoc. I thought about doing it but decided to go with a brand new engine so I don't need the block. I also still have the Ross Pistons and repolished rods that I will throw in for free with the purchase of the block.

FWIW, why take an E55 engine (designed for F/I) and start swapping blowers? Keep the OEM one, designed by AMG specifically for that engine... sell the Kleemann (designed to be added to N/A engines).
Also, since there are modded E55's trapping at 130 mph, an E55 engine in a C55 should be similar if not better. Similar to how the lighter SRT-6 is quicker/faster by a few tenths and MPH than the C32. So... once the E55 engine is in the C, and the electronics are happy (likely no small task) - why not just pursue the proven bolt-ons and end up with a car capable of 131+ traps? How high are you looking to go?
Echoing what others have stated, glad to hear you're still at it; best of luck with the new turn of events.
So why the nosiness? Did Linh tell you something?

The proven bolt-ons are still with me and it includes EVERY concievable mod out there including the $5K Maybach Tranny and 82mm TB, custom intake, etc,,etc... That's the reason I decided to rebuild this car because I got so much hardware invested in it already that will pay dividends once the engine issue is sorted out.

Manheim is a pricing guide only and follows the auctions nationally. Many registered dealers and brokers BUY their cars from Manheim or Manheim sponsored auctions. You can't buy a car from them (unless you are a dealer or know a registered member) . Its only a guide as to what cars are going thru the "chutes" at. Its very reliable from a wholesale point of view and many dealers use it as a guide for "trade-in" value.

I never doubted Roberts buying the CL65
I was genuinely excited for him...I only asked him twice because he didn't answer me the 1st time..So do tell?? Did you buy a used/new CL65 as you now list it in your sig
Glad to hear you're still bitin-gnawing-clawing @ this krazzee project
