All, I picked up an SL55 intake (well it an E55, but is same as SL55), but all I have is the Y-Splitter and air boxes. Is there any difference between the SL55 hoses that run from the front ram-air ducts to the airboxes? Are they bigger or anything(longer?)? If so, any fitment issues to attach them to the front ram air ducts?

you wont be able to use the oem c32 front tubes with the sl55 airboxes. the best bang for the buck is remove the plastic flappers in the radiator support. then contact rob at needswings for the devil horns i installed on my slk32.i posted a thread here and on the crossfire srt-6 forum with fotos. its a ram air setup that will connect to the airboxes and allow a ton of air in. its decently priced and easy to install.
if you dont want to go that route you can get the sl55 front tubes from parts.com for around 12$ each. you still have to remove the plastic flappers for them to fit

Yeah, as stated above you definitely can't use the 32 hoses. What I've done (at least for the mean time) is splice the SL55 hoses to the wide section of the 32 hoses that goes through the radiator support. Eventually I'll come up with a more permanent (and more attractive) fix, but until then this is working pretty well.

you dont need to cut or splice any hoses to make the SL55 hoses fit. they fit right in with my radiator supports. if you search for threads i've made, i have one with pics of my sl55 setup showing it fits.
320dreamer......the radiator support design is different on the c32 than that on the srt6 and slk32 i believe.....the plastic flappers are nearly impossible to come out (i've tried) and there is no place for the devil horns. even if the needswings style intake could match up with the TB, there is no place to run it up front like on the slk32 and srt6....we dont have that extra space

+1....i just jammed the intake hoses through the radiator supports. no problem, nothing has cracked or broken yet. or even come close to that matter. it takes some "gentle" persuasion lol

That's definitely true. I had it that way for a while, but having the SL hoses squished through the stock holes bothered me. I was constantly checking them to make sure every thing was still positioned right. This way, it connects to the factory holes giving me ease of mind and a more stock look.

jturkel from the fotos ive seen the rad supports are the same. those plastic flappers gotta go! break them off remove them completely and you now have a 3" opening to slide the horns in

"Nope, the c32 has a different rad support structure, your car already has a form of air horn on the inlet stock"
so its a no go....

If I owned a C32 I would just make a custom twin filter intake. Kinda like Jake has. The 55k intake on the C32 seems to have some fitments issues... Or at least not fitting the way I would want it.
Turk, I cant believe you flaked the other night. You missed a great time.. from what i remember.
