A lie

Don't believe it, then!

Any idiot can beat someone else on any given day. This has nearly NOTHING to do with the cars in question, and everything to do with incompetence behind the wheel.

it's a "has to be modded" s4 and runs 13.4 ...c32's run the same and better stock. that was just one race no biggy

Well, I guess that incompetence must be me.
This video was taken over a year ago, at a very very slippery road, Constructions were all over the place. We were testing our car from 0-60 using G-tech. He always pull 4.7 to 4.9
My best was 5.0
His car is fast off the line but after 40mph I'll pull on him big time

By the way, his car is chipped both ecu and tranny, exhaust

So much torque down-low, no wonder it'd beat C32 off the launch. But then, S4's 2.7 Bi-Turbo has better potential than 32's S/C. RS4 can beat a C32 right? Seems like this moderately tunned S4's 2.7BT is making the amount of HPs it's supposed to be making. Anyhow, I love C32s; to me, they aren't as "Raw" as the RS4.

turbos are so much easier to mod and get results without major $$...plus the s4 has awd to help the initial launch...

so...has anyone tuned the ecu simply to raise boost and increase the according fuel mixture on the c32? seems like a common item on turbo cars...what about the supercharger for c32?

You can't just "raise the boost with a chip" on a supercharged engine.

You have to change the mechanical bits - usually one or more pulleys, to increase the supercharger's rpm.

But you can't easily get the big power increases you can with a turbo. That said, 380-400 hp and more is currently available from Evosport and Renntech, among others.

Five flat is what Car and Driver got with the C32 so kudos. You equaled the best time of a professional driver at a test facility while driving at a slippery construction site. That's pretty good.

it's believable. The S4 is modded. But moding the car means nothing to me, everybody can mod their cars. Stock means everything.

sorry to say but Car and Driver along with many other magazines based in the US are very biased and I wouldn't be suprised if they get "donations" for their printed data.

hahahahahaha...now, that's funny. They get cars from the manufacturer, YES. Extra benefits?! If you consider buying ad space from the mag "donations" then I guess you can say yes, other than that, NO.

what's with all of you with the conspiracy theory?!
