CD Changers...
For some odd reasons, my changer doesn't read burned CD that are made by Imation (CD company)...
Last night, I burned some songs on other CDs but that didn't work... It said CDC error... I tested the CDC with some old CDs that used to work before and surprisingly, CDC didn't read those either...
What could be the problem? The magazine? Or CDC it self?
Something always goes wrong after my bro drives the car for few days lol

when i worked at the dealership i was replacing cd changers every other week. they seem to go bad on c's and ml's quite often. the one in my c32 took a crap a few weeks ago. pick a used working one up on ebay for $150, new they are around $400 i believe.

I work at the dealer too so I know how much garbage these things are. I have the same issue right now CDC Error, but I just use the command to play them. The command plays MP3 cds better anyways. I would stick to verbatim disks they are the highest quality, but I don't think that is your problem. I can give you the number to a company that refurbishes the units the company name is fast track electronics, but I dont have their number right now, I will get it tomorrow for you.

no problem hopefully they can take care of you. Let me know how much they charge. I have done a lot of business with them in the past, but I really don't really care enough to put money into the CDC lol.

My CDC just gave me errors the other day as well. It looked like it got stuck trying to switch disks and would try and find the disk then error out once it couldnt insert a disk from the cartridge. Then it wouldn't even eject the cartridge itself either. Then randomly about 5 days later it randomly started to recognize a disk (I tried at least once daily) so as soon as it read the disk I popped the cartridge out and havn't tried putting it back in yet.
I had a similar problem about 6 months ago with my CD Player in the Command unit where it wouldnt spit a burnt disk out. The MB dealer then charged me an hour of labor to get teh stuck disk out and since it was a burnt disk it wasnt covered via warrenty. It happened a second time and they replaced the whole Command unit luckily I stopped putting burnt disks in there. So Im gonna go back and double check that I dont have any burnt disks in the CDC cartridge if I have to take it back to the dealer.
