c32 race kills

i love when ricer's like the infamous civic and accord from the 90's pull next to you and rev theyre stupid coke can and duct tape exhaust they call a system. i was on my way to school i was late today so this was about 12 and a guy in a civic tried pulling away from me off the line. i didnt even try to pull away and ended up pulling away like a a person with a car would pass a guy on a bicycle lol
have any stories like this? you should share em for a laugh

pffft...why not line up with something with real powa?
I've been on the hunt for boosted Hyubusa's, TT Gallardo's, F430TT Scuderia and 8 sec Evo's.....
Havent lost yet-most drivers claim its thier tune (sure it is...I bet my slicks are an advantage too, huh?)-but I know. Its my mad tite driving skills. I'm down to a 0.001 R/T and a 1.1 60' (I hit 0.6 60' once, but I sheard the 40 spline axle shafts like they were Twinkies-and at $5k a pop-even I cant afford to do that every night).

Its best just to race cars within your class or above. Its not worth the gas to race civics and other fwd cars.

yeah the heavy modded ones yes. But not many will spend the money on a swap, forged internals and turbos.

Those who can, usually just buy better cars since its just cheaper to buy a faster car then to mod them.

Then again any car can be fast if you throw enough money at it, but i'm talking about the majority.

"heavy modded" is all in the eye of the beholder. swaps are dirt cheap now. swapping in a k series motor with hondata tune into a civic hatch will drop you into the 12's alone. i'm not even talking about "heavy modded" civics, thats obviously not a fair comparison, as those run 10's at 140mph+

you're also wrong about the cheaper part, maybe do some research before making blanket statements, no offense...

I would consider swapping out a entire drive train of one car into another one a heavy modded car.

Even then to hit 12's you gotta to buy the k20a2 engine, tranny, kpro, intake, header, exhaust, buy the rsx sub frame, hasport motor mounts and strip the interior depending on what yr civic your talking about.

If your talking 12's with just a straight swap without internals or FI, i'm assuming your talking about a EG.

You don't consider that heavy modded? How about i do a v12 twin turbo swap? Thats not heavy modded right?

Honestly, i don't think you've done your research. You can easily trade in a 4-5yr civic for 7-12k and get a used s2k, 350z for 10-12k and you have a faster car with a full interior and resale value.

I came from the honda world, if you want to talk hondas. We can talk about it all day long if you want.

dude... one person with an engine hoist can easily swap the motor in their backyard in the same amount of time that it takes someone on here to install a 185mm pulley.

as for the second paragraph, this statement is tangential to your original conclusion. the scope is simply that you can have an 11-12 second swapped turdbucket for about $6k. it is what it is, i'm a car enthusiast, not an ignorant fanboy (not implying that you are)

THE POINT is that it's so easy and cheap that a lot of modded civics out there are running around with swapped motors or $900 turbo kits. they are pretty quick...

You can't swap a k motor into a civic in a few hours. Swapping a k-series into anything older then a em2 or es1 is a time consuming swap since the k-series motor is significantly different from a b-series or d-series motor.

I don't know why your over exaggerating to the point where its basically a blatant lie to try to support your argument.

I'll concede that our difference in opinion stems from our difference in what is considered a heavy modded car.

I'll just leave it at that.

Tem,
Ive learned not to argue with Dingleberry, apparently he is an expert at everything.

For the record, Im not a honda guy but swapping a K series motor is a little more work than swapping the traditional B series motors. Otherwise everyone and their mother would be swapping in the that RDX turbo motor.
