Neat 1/4 mile time calculator based on hp/weight

Found a neat little calculator.

http://robrobinette.com/et.htm?weigh...66790303569441

I put in 3600 for the weight of the c55 and 315hp to the ground, which is what I dynoed at, and it calculated the quarter mile time of 13.1xx which is what I pulled at the strip. The only discrepancy is that it uses 17% drive train loss, whereas ours is 18% or more...so use your whp if you can.

So, after the kleemann header/ecu install it looks like I'll be running mid 12's!

BTW the car is just about done from the shop, I should be able to pick it up tomorrow!!!

If I do mine and extrapolate back with a weight of 3600 for the C32 and a qtr of 12.75, its says I have about 345 HP RW? Can that be correct??

I think you might have slightly more? Considering they factor in a 17% drivetrain loss whereas our cars, from what i've been told, are about 18%.

Here is another one based off quarter mile time and trap speed. I used this to figure HP on an old Pontiac I had a 1/4 miles slip from the old Carlsbad track. Pretty accurate.

Cool, I did that one as well and it says between 343 and 369, so these must be "pretty close."
