how the heck are you gonna fit 10x5"s!? I can barely squeeze in 9.5" in the back and my fenders are rolled too

If you can make it work, that would be awesome. It's not a problem out your way, but out here the roads are horrible. I'd be so afraid of cracking them.

...a panty dropper...
I say yes because it would look extremely aggresive!! The only downfall is tires since wide tires are expensive and since your rear wheels spin when you even look at the gas pedal its going to be pricey. But it would be worth it for the stance it would have!!

Hooleyboy,

If those wheels don't work out for you PM me as they will fit up nice in my W202 C43/55, provided they don't weigh over 19 to 20 lbs.

Thanks, Jeff

Are the offsets correct (or at least close) for a w203? That would guide my answer for "yes, make it work" or "no, don't even bother trying."

I have the 18" Monolites for w203 and they're great, but even with the 8.5 and 9.5 staggered setup, they're a pretty flush fitment option. Not sure how much work fitting those 9/10.5's would entail, especially w/o knowing the offsets.

EDIT: Pic for reference - here's what the 8.5/9.5 looks like on stock fenders:

Always admired Monolites – light and strong. 10.5” seems a bit much. Neither tried nor seen them on a W203...without air shocks that is.

Potential downside is having to fit a narrower tire than might otherwise properly clear the wheelwell, owing to their increase in section width when mounted on wider wheels.
It’ll look mean if you can shoehorn them in there.

Thanks splinter; for relatively simple mods (wheels/tires & springs, basically), I'm quite happy with the stance. A nice improvement from stock, and yet not too much that *might* compromise handling (or my ability to drive it to a client mtg. without reservations).

Good thing the pic wasn't from today; the weather hasn't been compliant with maintaining a clean vehicle.

hooleyboy - good luck with whatever path you take... keep us posted (w/ pics, please) on your progress.
