What size are the lug bolts on our cars?

Hey guys, I've searched around but couldn't find a clear answer. Does anyone know what size our lug bolts are? I ordered these off eBay and hope they will fit. They are going on with the Forgestar wheels.

Says those are for BMW's. Why don't you take one of yours out and measure it?

Yea the Forgestar wheels take cone seat lug bolts. I was just trying to find out their size without taking the OEM ones off.

www.radusadirect.com has near OEM lugs and locks, both in the stock ball seat and also in the cone seat style. They are not chrome plated though. You can also buy them from purems.com

Stock size is M12x1.5, with a 39-40mm shank. This is assuming that the depth of your wheel hub mounting surface is also the same as stock (I think this is normally a standard size, which is 10mm).

So to be sure, the ones I ordered off eBay should work just fine then right?

...a panty dropper...
So if this is true then I will need to buy 50mm extended lugs to go with my 10mm spacers, correct?

Had a wheel fall of going 30 MPH due to incorrect lugs. By sure. Be very, very sure....

(Maybe even buy them locally for a few bucks more instead of risking it)

a quarter mile at a time
Stock bolts are R12 ball seat 12mm x 1.5, 39mm shank length, 17mm hex head

If you're planning to run a 10mm spacer, everything will be the same except you need a 49mm shank length.

Most aftermarket wheels are cone seat, and the shank length will vary according to how the wheel is manufactured.
