Car is Totaled.. Its official
My headers on my car are not the currant production header. I hit a pot whole and damaged the headers. So the night before Famoso We stayed up until 1AM fixing them. They ended up being 1 inch shorter in runner size. Nothing else we could do in that kind of a pinch. If I do get the headers back I will alter them to fit the new car. and make them longer..
420whp is respectable, knowing you can get a bunch more power out of it. You should be able to pass my 482whp mark and my 11.55.
Honestly I cant believe my records held for so long. I'm just a steward of the C55 records. They will be broken. 11.55 and 121mph should make for a fun benchmark. I'm just happy to have helped push people to want to beat it.
As of right now My C55 is not the fastest out there... There is now someone out there who has the worlds fastest C55 and they may not even know it.
Who knows, As of late I'm getting kinda talked into buying another C55... Hooleyboy 2.0??? A custom plate would be in order. I was thinking "DO OVER"
Win, win situation if you ask me.
Thanks Mike, Mike (Alumar) and I love our cars (S7) and take great care of them like you did. We don't have the "pure power" that you did, BUT I also like my passive reliability and the ability to run std 93 octane at $3.00 a gallon versus your $8 bucks a gallon 100 !! You are correct though, nothing beats the "pure madness" of a blown C55, not even some of the E55s I've had the privilege to drive which were indeed quicker BUT didn't have the same raw feeling as the C55. The E55s are like an executive express and the C55 blown is like going into the UFC with no gloves and just hammerin away!! Funny thing is, I had the S7 and the Honda Accord V-6 side by side today, and they are about the same size in the back end. The S7 /C55 however, has a pure sexxiness and bruteness that just can not be denied.
Now go ruin someone elses thread not this tribute thread.

Finally, I've got the tuning support I needed to take it to the next level.
Kleemann has advised me not to exceed 1 bar before that blower runs out of efficiency. These units are 2.0 litres and NOT the Kenne Bell units that are 2.2 to 2.8 litres. Those bad boys can run 30psi without a problem but my block won't be able to take it even if I swapped out the Kleemann for a Kenne Bell.
as an example, my isuzu 1.8L motor makes 108 HP n/a, 225 HP at 14 psi, and 425 HP at 30 psi (with race gas)

Mike's saying that N/A vs. 1 bar (14.7 psi) would effectively double output, assuming proper compressor efficiency, cooling, and fuel. Because you've doubled the airflow consumed by the engine. Jump to 2 bar (near 30 psi) and you'd see a similar effect, assuming the same aforementioned items.
He's not saying "go from 3 psi to 6 psi doubles output" - which what you (correctly) refute.
