Car is Totaled.. Its official
Its hard to say good bye to an old friend, A car that was so good to me, so much fun to drive, NA and supercharged, Its hard when you have put your B.S.T into a car. Then it ends this way... Not on your own terms. To my C55, You will be forever missed and never forgotten. With that I leave you folks this.
First day with the car.
C55's first supercharger (this one ended up being junk.)
Retrofit mod begins
Buttoning up the retrofit
Project Retrofit complete
Some fun with good friend
This C55 spawned MBH motorsports.. out of passion not money.
Best I could muster up with a bad trans
big power

I tear came to my eye, when I was making this post. So many late nights with this car working to make it the best it can be. Needless to say I'm very saddened from loosing this car. Its something I planed on owning for many many years... Is this year over yet?

damn bud....soo sorry for your loss.
really upsetting, and it's not even my car...
as much as I hate to say it, I really believe everything happens for a reason - maybe you can aim for something bigger, better and stronger this time!
keep your head up!

I just have to say one thing: the V12 Biturbo is sick.
And I guess one other thing, that I've never seen someone else who had the stock chrome wheels!

I know where you're coming from Hooley. I had put countless hours on my last car and it was taken from me by an idiot (rear-ended, total loss). From one car nut to another, I'm sorry for your loss. Your hard work will not be forgotten......

Donny was a good bowler, and a good man. He was one of us. He was a man who loved the outdoors... and bowling, and as a surfer he explored the beaches of Southern California, from La Jolla to Leo Carrillo and... up to... Pismo. He died, like so many young men of his generation, he died before his time. In your wisdom, Lord, you took him, as you took so many bright flowering young men at Khe Sanh, at Langdok, at Hill 364. These young men gave their lives. And so would Donny. Donny, who loved bowling. And so, Theodore Donald Karabotsos, in accordance with what we think your dying wishes might well have been, we commit your final mortal remains to the bosom of the Pacific Ocean, which you loved so well. Good night, sweet prince.

That is sad to see, I have seen a few things just about as bad. For one example a friend had a nitrous backfire with no fire estinguisher around....
So a e55 supercharger bolts right on?
Accellerator mishap?! Please explain!

Hooley,
Sorry to hear the final word. Your posts about your car carried so much enthusiasm and love for the car with them that it was an inspiration to myself (and I'm sure to others as well).
Thankfully, you were not hurt physically and you are still hehre to grace us with your knowledge of AMGs. I look forward to hearing what comes next. I'm sure you will rise up out of the ashes and be stronger and faster.
Good luck with everything, if there is anything I can do to help (go check out a car or anything) let me know and I will be more than happy to help.

Sorry to hear that. That was one bad *** C55 man. What happened? Why is that totaled? Looks like it needs new control arms, suspension, bumper, hood and fender?

hate to hear man. It may just be a car, but a lot of time, money, and effort has been put into it. When you develop that relationship with a vehicle its hard to see it go. Pretty weird feeling.. you know its just a car.. but it still hurts lol. I've seen it on Z forums too. Some of the best well known Z's have bit the dust. Goodluck on which ever vehicle you get next.

So I had dinner tonight with my family at a nice stakehouse called Mastro's.. I had like 4 words to say all night. Totally morning a loss. The stake was great though.
