This past Firday we have spent almost a full day tuning E46M3 and E39M5. Powerchips came out with their full crew and their software tools. The results can be seen here:

M5 board

MB software will be available next week. We are going to start with our C32, other MB will follow right after.

We are very happy and excited to work with Powerchips on the future products.

Gimpy: No HP gains yet. We are going back for more tuning soon.

Turbo2: That was on M5, not M3.

Does evosport have any products that give good hp gains for the m3?

Gimpy,

Just by changing the E46 M3 exhaust and resonator, you can pick up 10hp at the wheels (unlike most cars). Our UD pulleys will add 8-12hp. There are also headers, lightweight components, etc to make the car better/faster.

Vadim,

Can the rev-limiter rpm be increased? I am tired of my car hitting the rev-limiter on the 1-2 shift!

Going from 6220 to 6400 rpm should not be a problem.

sticky2 and others interested. i got underdrive pulleys for my m coupe (same engine as e46m3) a few weeks ago. dyno runs revealed 284.9whp a 10hp gain from stock, the power gain is very apparent, you will notice it.

Vadim,

How long would you need a car for to do the proper R&D?

It depends on what is being done. To properly tune a car it can take anywhere from an hour to a full day. It all depends on tuning software and what is being done.

We setup April 18th, 2003 as MB tuning day with POWERCHIPS. Besides C32, there will be several other AMG models.

Good news !
vadim, here is a link for your "target rpm" setting.
Link : http://www.lancer-evolution.com/asso/regist.html

C32AMG need 6500 rpm to cross the 300 km/hr boundry.
