But then you can probably just buy a 2jz for $1800 and pay $1k for custom mounts. Might be cheaper. If your only into straight line, it'll probably be cheaper course.

But it will throw off the weight distribution since that engine is heavy as hell.
IMO....rear mounted twin turbos FTW

I know that he left, but I don't know what happened to his car. I was thinking LET may have taken over, but I never heard any thing else about it.

Erick was the company. But yes, after the hurricane and LET closed, presumably the project was scrapped.

It would be good to know what happened - I guess we have to presume that he never got it working properly, since no public postings exist to the contrary.

lol, blast for the past! Actually the car was stolen. It wasn't complete tho, and that was when jerry was taking over LET so it was a wash.

I wish it were as easy as throwing a turbo and piping it correctly! I would have done it for sure! Unfortunately, there is a ton required to get the car to even start...

But definitely possible, right? There's that SRT-6 Turbo floating around although I'm not sure I've seen numbers from it...not that I've looked that hard.

Oh and then there was that Korean SLK32 Turbo. Almost forgot about that one.

It does make me wonder how much power the bottom end can safely handle.

Hey Jake - stolen? Wow, that's crazy. Does that mean that Erick successfully got it running with the turbos? Or did the crooks show up with a flatbed?

As for the second part - I'm not the least surprised... it always sounded like a ton of work; especially successfully programming the ECU functions.

We already did it on the SRT-6 and bryan made some great power. Mid 400's on our dyno (same engine as C32)

Ya, apparently it was removed right from the driveway (flatbed). He didn't get to complete the project, but we had enough info from that build to complete bryans build in 10 days.

It was a ton of work, the ECU was not fun at all. The project would have been a lot cheaper but we didn't have the runners built, we cut up an old SC that was damaged in a bad port/polish job.

Was in regular contact with Erick discussing hardware and business possibilities during that time frame.
Knew of his C32 disappearing.
He shared, “The turbo installation is finally complete…under the hood of my new Audi!”

Any substantive changes with the long tubes during tailpipe emission certification?

Sorry to hear of his C32 being stolen, but at least it sounds like he landed on his feet, which is good.

IMHO, a good question for Cory. Might be tough to swing in CA; also might be worth PMing guys like RARfinancial and C63 Guy, as they would undoubtedly be in the same predicament, albeit different AMGs.

The secondaries are still in place, but the Kleemann setup deletes the primaries with downpipes. We have annual inspections (including emissions) but AFAIK the emissions part is just a readout from the OBDii port - no "sniffer test"; my understanding is that it should pass here but I'll know for sure in a month or two.

TO OP...personally I thnk 20 horse for longtubes is reasonable for a six cylindar...actually its a nice gain. Why not just go with shorties and savea lot fo cash and likley not too much $$.

Anyone ever tried porting stockers? (not that I would...just curious).
