So,

I recently got into a small crack to my C55 bumper and lip, so I decided to get a CLK63 front, (thanks Russell Stevens for the great help!!!)

I always wanted something like the black series look, so this is what I came out with. I painted those fog light and center meshs with the flat black paint I sprayed my grll with, so it matches!

I also installed a hideaway plate as well!

I'm waiting for my CLK Brabus replica grill to arrive, then the front end SHOULD be done

Next up is a wider fender, and MAYBE a nice drop.

enjoy.

AND I made this, for ****s and giggles I still have a few of these! if anyone wants them PM me!

How did you get it to work with the front fenders?

Looks great, But maybe ditch the tow hook?

hey mike,

the bumper is slightly wider than the fenders, it was only around 1/4" or so, so it's fine. the difference is that, the bottom of the bumper is about 2 inches wider than the stock C55 one!

I'm gonna have to leave the tow hook. I parked in the city a lot, and I don't want anyone bumping into my fresh paint!

So I can't tell. I don't have the trained eye. Is your bumper cover a CLK 63 BS and Russell stevens is a clk 63?

The Black Series bumper has carbon vents and much wider flares. You would have to swap the fenders and hood to make it work. Then you would have to change wheels to be even with the fenders. The Black series cars use different spindles, brakes, and different offset wheels so the front is alot wider. Yes mine is a Mercedes CLK63 front bumper.

First of all, I love the CLK63 bumper! I'm a fan of everything you've done with your car however I think the front diffuser with that bumper somehow looks "off" to me. I think the CLK bumper without the diffuser would look perfect!

It's not the CLK63 cabrio bumper...that one is more squared off and IMO more aggressive looking. Unless the black paint is really throwing me off!

If you look at the fog light area and grills they are different bumpers. Is one of these from the CLK cabriolet and other from the CLK coupe? Or are they from different years on the CLK cabriolet or CLK coupe?

Can you guys provide the MB part numbers for each bumper. Either way both are nice.

Looks like Advans grills are plastic and Russells grills are metal.
