Good Deal? In short, I'd say no... I could see $23k for a non-accident car with 40k miles, but it would have to be pretty pristine. This one has the premium package, but no Command, and no Bi-Xenons. Chrome wheels are from the dealer, I don't think these wheels ever came chrome from the factory, but I can't confirm that. Engine looks dirty, I'd get some service records if you can...

Keep looking, you will find a good one if you are patient. Its 100% worth it to keep looking. You don't want to get a bad one of these, could be a headache.

the bad thing people dont' realize is with that mileage it will very shortly need brake rotors, spark plugs, wires, MAF, possible alternator, etc.

I just sold mine a couple months ago, 2005 C55 AMG with 64k miles and in great shape for 20k. I'm sure you can find better or talk them down a couple grand. Good luck!

2005 c55

Well I did plan to negotiate, but I just changed directions here I was looking at a e55 amg in Tempe. I actually had a deposit down but then pulled out. I just felt uncomfortable with negative equity I'm paying on 2 homes and they would not come down on price or include warranty in deal. So I thought why not a c class amg. I could get the power I want, my wife can drive a car she thinks is cute and I can get it for around 20k,
plus I can sit on my 540 for a little longer and get a better price.
The problem is I cant find a c class amg and this one is the color I want plus he is 10 miles from me.
So keep the advise coming and where to look.
Thanx Ken

I guess I don't understand what your saying... now your looking at an E55 amg, but you said "c class amg" twice in your post, and posted a link to a E55 amg? Also, you'd be hard pressed to get into an E55 AMG for 20k, unless you want a higher mileage vehicle.

No. Sorry for the confusing post. My search began with looking for the e55, but I've since opted for the c55. Mainly because of the price. I recently almost purchased that e55 in Tempe but backed out. Im going to look at a black c55 today.I currently own a bmw 540 and will not have to trade it in if I purchase the c55 and can try to get a better price for it. I simply put in all that info to clarify but looks like I made it worse.
In short I'm looking for a Black c55 amg, low miles, great price, I do plan to purchase a warranty. Thanx Ken

Another choice

I'm not finding to many C55 amgs in black anywhere in the country. Can I really trust someone from another state not to take advantge of me ? Can I trust someone from this site to check it out for me for a fee? Thanx Ken
P.S. Here is the latest C55 I have found.

There are a few on Auto Trader. This one is still under warranty...

The one you posted looks great. Should check for accident damage and warranty.
