C32 chip dillema...

I am interested in tying to get more power out of my C32 and made some phone calls about getting a new chip. According to Evo Sport, they tested several of the chips (Renn-Tech, etc.) for the C32 and saw no gains on their dyno. If the chip manufacturers are claiming that they are getting 30 or so horsepower, then what is with Evo Sports test? I want to buy a chip, however, I don't want to get nothing in return.

If you don't wan't to wait, go ahead and order it, powerchipgroup gives a 14 day money back guarantee, and post your results, so we can see them.

First of all we never said we tested Renntech. The companies we tried are based in Germany.

Secondly, if we find something that works, rest assured we will provide dyno data behind it.

We are tuning MBs on April 18th. I will post the results.

Thanks for the feedback. I am interested in chipping my car only. I've looked into the pulley kit and I've heard positive things about it. However, I'm planning on putting some different wheels on my C32 instead of the pulley kit. Did the chip by itself help very much?

A pulley kit will most likely be more beneficial than ECU tuning.

upgrade

I had both installed at the same time. I did post my dyno. something like 317 rwhp and lots of torque. The less I drive this car the harder it is to launch. *from red lights and stop signs*

Look at the numbers I just posted a couple of minutes before in the post "doing my homework". Evosport gives my 315 rwhp at the wheel with just pulley (comming from 279 stock).
I assume that your pulley alone will also bring you this number and the only thing your chip does is remove the max speed delimiter. I am speculating of course, but I think the truth will be very close to my feeling.
Let's see what april 18 brings with the powerchip guys ... that will be insteresting !

track test

Has anyone with upgrades posted time slips. (any better than 12.9's) Even if the ecu only lifted my limiters I've only seen 142mph. coming back on I-10 from Renntech. Even if I hold the power thru the finish line at the track I can only get to around 128 before I need to brake to return track.
