SC of the E55 on the c32? can it be done?

Does anyone try to retrofit the sc of the E55 on the c32 motor? performance output? boost? i think the e55 one is larger in lenght as it sitted on the v8. the air runners of the e55 can be cutted and c32 one can be welded.

Hooleyboy put a 55k AMG blower on his C55. it was a bit more costly than going with a Kleemann s/c after all was said and done, but certainly possible.

Hey Kuzni check the post I wrote on the how to add the paddles to the 55 wheel I did years ago. It involves a dremel and drill.

I'm curious about the E55 S/C on a C32. Never heard of anybody trying it before.... I'm guessing you could cut off two of the runners and weld them closed? It must be longer though so I wonder about fitment issues.

if you use the e55 intercooler as well...i think it would be a easy way of upgrading the intercooler as well. I think the problem is, i haven't seen any cheap e55 superchargers. There all pretty expensive what I seen.

that is correct, the supercharger itself is expensive, but that's the easy part. just wait for the time on labor to come by, that'll get you. hooleyboy's c55 (RIP) was doing if i remember correctly 11 second quarter miles with the e55 blower. he had a bunch of other stuff though i'm sure.

That sounds like a year's supply of migraine headaches in the making.

i think putting a e55 sc would be onto a c32 would be easier then what hooleyboy did on his c55. Long as the sc can fit dimensionally. I think the problem would be if the e55 sc is longer then the c32 one. Then the sc clutch would extend past the pulleys.

regarding the intercooler, Hooleyboy i think is working on some intercooler prototypes, for sure for the M113k, specifically for his SL55.

if there is interest for an intercooler for the C32, let me or him know (or post it on here) and maybe we can get something in the works super fast (i'm leaving AZ on July 17th and won't be here for the next 10 days)

I certainly wouldn't volunteer to be the test dummy I can tell you that. But I'm all for somebody else pioneering the process.

650hp from Kleemann blower?? I do not think that is correct! The most that you could get from S8 Kleemann blower is about 590bhp and that with old twin screw blower . The new design blower (Root Type)will get nowhere near that .
