About Deleting resonator
I went the auto shop for estimate the price of delete resonator and they asked for $300.
They said the pipe is little bit oval shape, so hard to fit the pipe and weld.
Also, they said they are using stainless steel not like other place is using cheap pipe.
I think it costs little too much.
Where did you guys done yours?
I am living in Seattle area.
Please advise me!!!!!!!!!!!! Need your help!!!!!!!!!!!

That's BS.
I had mine done for $50 at a local muffler shop. Our pipes are run-of-the-mill round tubing. Go somewhere else.

When I went to get my res delete replaced because it was leaking the guy quoted me $190 and I laughed at him. First he claimed it was expensive pipe (it wasn't even stainless), I explained to him what I explained above and he changed his story and said that, "he had to pay for his pipe bending machine". I told him I sympathize with him, but I didn't think I should pay for the whole thing myself. I went to walk out and he knocked 90 bucks off. So it ended up costing me $100. That's even more than what most people here have paid. The whole thing (including our haggling) took half an hour.

Thanks all~
I was about to get ripped by them and you guys saved me.
I think so many shops try to rip us off because of the logo on our hood and lack
of knowledge about our cars.
I totally realized the importance of our forum.
Thank you guys!!!!!

I'm located in seattle as well. Most places will do it for you for much cheaper than that but will do a really crappy welding job. Make sure you look for exhaust leaks when they're done.

Cost me $45 for parts and labor, I went with aluminum though. Was told it'll last about 7 years here in Texas. Have a custom exhaust project in the work though, more details to come....

FYI--guys, it's aluminized steel, not aluminum. You wouldn't be able to weld aluminum tubing to the steel exhaust system.

No problems at all.
I called a few places and this was the closest one, but all ranged from 40-60. I found a few others in Norcross which is by where I work.

They would NOT remove the secondary cats, apparently they can get fined by the Federal Govt. for doing so, up to $10K is what the shop owner told me.
To be honest, I absolutely love the sound, I am also glad I didnt get the secondaries removed because I think it would have been too loud for my taste, right now its at the point it sounds louder and sportier but not obnoxious.
I have an 05 Roush Mustang with full exhaust work as well and on long road trips it can get annoying, this worked out perfectly, my .02

I passed in GA with both res and secondaries deleted. Cant say I didnt get nervous though when he broke out the mirror on a stick to check for cats. As long as the primaries are there you shouldnt have a problem.

Seriously? Those idiots couldn't even weld an exhaust hanger back on my old Camaro that held. I was nervous having them work on my Camaro, no way in hell I would take a Mercedes to them.
I paid $100 to have my secondaries and resonator removed. Love the sound. Can't hear it at highway speed so it isn't a problem! Took me forever to find a shop I felt confortable having them do it and that was only after I saw their work with my own eyes on a few cars my work sent to them.
