Just got back from Island Dragway where I ran a best pass of 12.84 @ 109mph with a 2.00 60ft time. My first three runs were 13.5 (mashing it with traction control off), 13.3 (traction control on), 13.0 (traction control off but easing it out of the hole), and finally a 12.84 with traction control off and coming out a little harder.

Pretty good baseline runs for a completely stock car. I can't wait to do the pulley, slicks, and nitrous. I want to see if I can get one of these things into the 11s.

I'll scan it no doubt. I also have some shots of me at the track. My friend got the 13.0 run on video but he wussed out and went home just before my 12.84 pass.

Changing the subject, does anyone know if the instructions provided on this forum for changing the fuel setting from "base" to 93 also applies to the SLK32? I have a friend who works at Mercedes headquarters (not Stuttgart, but Jersey) and I'd like to give him the exact instructions before I go there.

Thanks,

Marc

A 200hp shot should get you into the 11's , give it a try

Haha, I'm crazy, but not that crazy! A 75 shot sounds about right for this application. I figure I'll hit it just as I'm coming into 2nd gear. With just the 75 shot and assuming no traction issues, I think I can run a 12.2 to 12.4. We shall see...

gotta see slips
with 60ft times of 2.00 and 12.8's at the end . I must be doing something wrong. What is the gearing difference between c32 and slk. Would like to see nitros installation setup.
GOOD JOB

GOOD JOB
What you're forgetting is the SLK32 is a good 300-400lbs lighter than your C32. This translates to higher trap speeds which lets me run 12.84 @ 109mph.
