If you could buy any Mercedes you want...
If you had the ability to acquire any Mercedes Benz model (old or new), what would you get?
I guess the answer could range from your current model, all the way to the just introduced SLS AMG GT3, or classics like the old 1950's Gullwing or a 1980's 560 SEC.
And don't be shy to post some pics if you have any.

The first is the SL65 AMG Black Series. I think this car looks absolutely fantastic in ANY situation. It has that ability to look absolutely aggressive and elegant at the same time. It looks good stationary or cruising down a bouelvard.......it looks good roaring down a back road or on a track. Sure, it's dynamic prowess is behind the class leaders in its price range and it has the old 5 speed AMG transmission, but I'm sure I will absolutely enjoy the car at the track and it will more than hold its own on a typical lapping day. Oh, and did I mention the 6.0L Bi-Turbo V12?

The other car I would love to have is a 190E 2.5-16 Evolution or Evolution II. I loved the "baby benz" of the 1980's in my youth, and the 2.5-16 Evolution models were the performance pinnacle of that car. Race tuned suspension with self leveling suspension in the rear, unique Getrag 5 speed manual transmission with the "dog-leg" pattern, standard LSD, etc, etc. The Evo II was the ultimate expression for these race inspired cars, but some may find the body-work to be a bit too "extreme".

A '39 W154 Grand Prix machine with its 3-liter supercharged V12 is also in my dream collection.
Imagine manhandling either around Nürburgring in anger during their heyday.
