ya you don't need a lot.... The OBD2 to Wifi, The REV App (If you jail broken I think you can down the full program via installous app). Your ECU has pretty much has all the sensors tied into it.... Be foolish not to take advantage over it. For hardcore custom tuning and boosting I can see the need for it, but with our cars..... really not necessary

You can tell Honson's car bc it had the silver CF insert on the hood and the renntech monolites. He raced a lot back in the day. He still has his C32, one of the few original owners BTW.

I use the iPhone/Rev/OBD2 to Wi-Fi . If you have a iPod touch, that would work also. the obd2 to wifi costs about 150 fyi. so this whole setup can cost you 300+ if you don't have a iphone/ipod touch, i would go the dash dyno route imo.

white and whiter
i was hoping to keep using my iphone 2G as the boost gauge when i got the iphone4, but the POS died on me. haven't been able to fix it. thank god for iphone4.

as for jailbroken REV app, I tried it...but it didn't work. ended up paying for it. so expect around $200 if you already using an iphone.

btw guys...I tried the REV on nlpamg's 2005 C230k and REV was able to pick up the VIN # as well, but not for pre-05 cars.
