for what your going to do with your car...i agree. I would get the michelin ps2's. Maybe also look at some toyo r888's.

Fyi, I've gone through basically every performance tire. Ps2's are a waste of money, as are the new P zero's and any of the "performance tires." I only use "extreme performance" tires, and have done so for the past 7 or so years since my Porsche which was turned into basically a cup car. The current Yoko Advan Neova AD08 or whatever they are, are the best "extreme tire" I've had to date other than corsa's or cups. The Dunlop z stars are a cheap alternative also but the Advans are far superior all around.

I've had both and in fact am running both. Z stars front and Yoko's rear. The yoko's are so much better all around and when you get to the end of the Dunlops they disintegrate their inner tread. I have fully ajdustable everything but need to give as much grip as possible to the rear so I bought the dunlops again for the front; it just works. I'm also running -1.8 all around and have clk63 upper mounts and 5mm spacers etc. amongst other things so...

Day one, Airbox and intake manifolds removed and the (work) starts today.
What amazes me is that the heat exchanger is quiet big and the car comes with the Johnson C090 pump which is huge compared to the E55 oem water pump.

A new idea popped in my mind, when all is well and testing in the heat..I'll see if I can get one of those very very large H/E heat exchangers from the E55/SL/CL/S/CLS E55K aftermarket parts and see if its clears the bumper.

Good luck with your project mate and I am looking forward for the update. I am currently installing Kleemann SC and header on my CLK, and has taken longer time than expected as wrong header was sent while custom in my country took forever to clear...sigh.
