Estimated complection by the end of the week,

The heat exchanger install is completed and the hoses are in as well.

Remaining is water pump and secondary air injection pump.


Love this picture very mad max-ish look to it

The E55 airboxes don't have any logos on them - they look identical to the ones you've installed...
I meant the AMG badges left and right on the airbox.

They started it, the car sounds different intake wise and the exhaust because of the supercharger. The car hasnt moved for nearly a month, they let it start just idiling.

They need to get the bracket from the machining shop for the intercooler pump and secondary air injection pump back on Saturday. Both pumps will sit on the same bracket in the front left corner behind the front bumper.

My S7 is totally debadged and the Kleemann badges are in the glovebox, so I am not the guy to ask. Me, I'd debadge, BUT if you like the large red K, then leave it. I do like the AMG badges on the airbox though (left and right), they look good. Your final install should end up looking like this!!!

I am not a fan of debadging a car, I removed the red K because it just didnt look right its too long SLK55 K and the fact that its on the left it didnt look too alligend, too much highlight with the red and grabs attention as apposed to the Kleemann logo which is in the centre.

So the car now has the SLK55 and the Kleemann emblem, a bit more subtle and understated if you dont notice the Kleemann emblem.
