What type of filter did you use ddtham? and last but not least, where is "Rubber weather stripping" located that you are talking about?

I used a HVAC heater filter, it's made out of cotton-like material. HEPA filter that was suggested on the DIY looks like really thin short strings which are woven together. I was just afraid that the short strings might come undone and got sucked into the SC, therefore I went with the cotton-like filter.

I also went with the really fine mesh. I did four layers (from inside-out, fine mesh, filter, fine mesh, and another filter) instead of the suggested two layers, which might be an overkill When I did the two layers, the SC sucking in air sounds like a turbo whistling, and I didn't really like it, hence the four layers.

The rubber weather stripping is that long rubber strips on the top of your engine that prevents rain from coming in (I usually put it back on when it rains )

so adding a larger Heat exchanger, a Johnson pump and isolating the intercooler fluid will add a noticeable amount of power??

no, the 181 pulley and tune will. We already established that the cooling mods will not add hp, but keep you from losing hp from heat soak.

you dont have to but since your draining the coolant to install the heat exchanger, might as well do it all at once.

And make sure you bleed the system really well or air pockets will cause your engine to overheat.
