C32 Amg 181 Pulley + EC Tune ??
Iam about to tune my stock C32 and i saw that Eurocharged got an campain on Pulley + tune for 999usd.
Do i need any futher modifications then the 181pulley + tune ,that i need to have?
Is there anyone with this setup that can recommend it?
Thanks mates!
I have 3 fast questions i hope you can answer

1.Instead of the heat exchanger, iam thinking of getting an I/C Reservoir, can that help me get down the temperature instead?
2.The icpump is exchanged 2 years ago at MB, not for a johnson tho but will that make any difference?
3. Is it worth the "bang for the buck" this package, will i feel much more boost?
Thanks !!
What i mean is to separate the I/C cooling and engine cooling, wich will result in lower temperature on the I/C water, because it dosnt use the same hot water as the enginge.?( Right? )
or am i totaly out of line?

No, you won't be at 400 HP. Probably more like 320-340. It takes A LOT to get to 400 HP and a 181 and tune ain't gonna do it!! Note that the HE also will not give you more HP, it will simply allow your car to run "cooler" (thereby making more HP over a longer period of time and preventing heat soak ) .
Mine was a lot stronger after 185 (22 psi?). It was unbearable for two weeks though, due to the fact that I didn't send the ECU right away. So I had to stay under 4500 RPM. But, after the tune, it felt like a completely different animal (especially when it's cold and not heatsoaked, which happens after a lot when you run 185).
I have heard unfavorable things about Green filters. I would just do drop in K&Ns ($70ish) and Code 3 Intake (DIY) for under $20 (If you're into SC whine, you will love it when you take off the weather stripping). C3P intake is also not so obnoxious when you put the weather stripping back on.
Oh yea, perhaps do a before (baseline) dyno and after to verify the improvement.

ddtham: Thanks for the info, i hope the seperation of the I/C cooling will help me with the heatsoaking,
Do you have any tips "building" an cod3 intake? would apreciate it!
I even doubt that high, A tune and pulley may get you 40 Crank HP so it'll be close, BUT I am much more concerned about RWHP than crank. The point is, when I did my EC tune and C3P pulley, I was happy as a clam. I really don't put as much credence into dyno runs as much as I do qtr mile runs.
Now, if you're talking about 400 RWHP, then you need to speak to Jake at EC because his car was doing about that rear wheel (but that was with a LOT of tuning and mods). I also believe that Jake's old car has gone close or into the 11s as well.

You're probably gonna have to register on this forum to see the photos.
Remember to try and find a filter material that doesn't disintegrate easily to ensure that your SC is clean of debris from the filter material itself. I doubled the filter material just to be safe. Just FYI, I played around with using single layer filter vs. double, and the SC sucking in air sound is way louder with single layer.
The biggest pain of the DIY is cutting the endplate off the bracket. Everything else was easy and trust me, you will love the sound of the SC sucking in air like a vacuum cleaner. Just remember to clean it once in a while
Have fun!
