I know! that thing is so damn loud! It does sound good, but he wants it even louder..I think that may get annoying driving everyday, and having to worry about getting pulled over all the time, but oh well

but honestly I'm not a big fan of titanium exhaust on the e46 M3. I much prefer hearing the intake noise of the engine especially ones willing to go all out and get the CSL intake. :drool:

But I honestly thought it would be louder. It sounds pretty much the same as my car does with the cats in. Did you notice a slight power increase? Im debating doing this myself and am curious if there is a increase in performance. Also was this video done soon after the mod?

It did take a few days for my exhaust note to really change after the res delete... sorry for all the questions

yeah, his exhaust sounds alright in my opinion, I feel that there could have been a better one than that..CSL intake is win!

Res delete and cats I highly recommend! His m3 is an 05 which has all the new lights and some other goodies, but 02 is just as fast

Its significantly louder without the cats in, it may be hard to tell from just a video. Both videos were done within a few days of getting my cats out, and now I'd say the tone of the exhaust hasnt changed since. It definitely feels a little faster, but that may be only because their is less weight in the car without them, it probably took out about 25-30lbs....hope that helps
