An AMG birthday!
Yesterday was my birthday and I had the wife get me chrome Benz centers for the new wheels, I got an AMG t-shirt off ebay (navy to match the car of course), and getting my headlights restored (been wanting this done for a while...80k miles has taken its toll on them). That's a pretty good AMG birthday!

Thanks man! I didn't like the chrome when I first got the car but it grew on me a little over the a few months and so I decided to roll with it and got the rep Bremma's to match the mirrors and door pulls. I'm digging it now. It definatly looks right rolling slow with the sun flashing off those 19's. Ain't nobody else got the full chrome package (probably for good reason

IMO chrome has always been a great finish as long as you can MAKE it look good, many ppl here in miami looking ****TTTTTTTY on chrome wheels.
btw where did u buy them from ? are they staggered?

I acutually got them used (1200 miles on them off an SL500). They were sold originally through the Tire Rack as "Sport Edition" wheels. Tire Rack doesn't offer them in chrome any more, hence my long search for used ones. The are staggared and they fit 100% perfect...off-set couldn't have been better.

If you need a place to stay you got a place up here and a garage spot to park the AMG in if you need it. We live 5min from Death Valley. We actually live in the neighborhood that Tommy Bowden lived in when he was here. Use to see his wife and boxer bulldog walking through the neighborhood daily.
