Anyone running 265/35/18s?
Anyone running 265/35/18s on their C32/C55? I know the next plus side from the stock 235/40/17 is 255/35/18. The 265 is more of a common side and I wouldn't mind the wider footprint. Is anyone running the 265?

I've got 18's now (8.5 and 9.5) and I have the stock 225 front and 245 rear. I'm getting a new set thats about to go on and I'm going to a 255 rear. Fitment depends entirely on your suspension setup and the width of your wheels..
and since I just realized you are getting my wheels, you can fit a 265 easily on a 9.5. If you wanted, you could run a 275. In terms of rubbing, I'm not sure how those would go, but seeing how the fitment isn't too aggressive, and you are on stock suspension, you shouldn't have to worry about it

I was running 275/30/18 on the rear with no spacers. I'm running 285 nitto drag radials now and they rub like a *****...I do not recommend going any wider than 275.

I am running 235/40/18 in front 265/35/18 in rear on Mandrus Millenniums 8.5 front 9.5 rear.
Wait my sig says 235/45 265/40... I guess I need to go look and see what I am actually running.

I got stopped when my speedo said 75 the officer said his calibrated speedo was reading 81. He didn't give me a ticket. I then used a handheld GPS and my wife following in her car and my speedo was about 1 mph off above 80. below that it showed as spot on. I set cruise at 25, 35, 45, 55, 65, 70, 75, 80, and 85. at 80 on my digital readout the GPS said 80.5, at 85 on digital readout GPS said 86. All the others showed with in .5 of the speed on digital readout.
He stopped me because my rear fog light was on, said I had a defective stop lamp. I believe he made up the speed and that is why he didn't give me a speeding ticket. I think he pulled me over because my car looks a little 'hood and he just wanted to have a look to see if there was an easy bust!

This will show you the speedo error you will have, as well as the circumference difference.

I'll get back to you in a bit with the tire type too.

white and whiter
i had 235 and 265 PS2 on my BBS RE previously. wider foot print = more traction/friction = crappier mpg. i'm sticking to 225 255 from now on. lol

I personally like the look of 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 and how it sits on the stock wheels, plus they are nearly identical in diameter (unlike the stock 245/35/18)

Remember all tires are not the same size, look at these tires and the rpm (rev's per mile) on each of them. Size for size they are not the same.
