just to keep up with a STOCK E55, you need to be more heavily modded

you need to run higher boost (185mm pulley kit, not a 178mm Kleemann), an intake (for more air), headers, a heat exchanger (to lower your charge temps), and a retune for those mods. Not to mention some of the important supporting mods with that such as colder/regapped plugs and perhaps an upgraded IC pump....that's just to keep up with a stock 55

and btw, an ECU upgrade is a tune.

josh is correct.

You can definately run the 100 shot and stick with a stock E55....for a few seconds..... until your engine blows...

there is a lot to running the gas on the 32. Heavy tuning and fueling mods are required.

it's not a c32 anymore if you swap a 2jz engine in there.
I plan to buy a supra. The C32 is my daily driver. Swapping an e55k motor in someday would be nice...

I find the C32 vs E55 debate trivial when you have the tuners posting in here as well..

E55 pulls on a C32 even when you don't have your foot down.

Ran into that same GTO tonight, and ended up racing at the exact spot I tried to get him last time. 60-105 C32 pulled half a length. GTO missed the shift and I left him in the dust 105-145MPH...

I got in a 3-way race with a E46 M3, and a stock C6 corvette. Left the M3 by a car length and was neck and neck with the C6 until about 80mph then he slightly started to pull...

Was a fun trip home from work

Some nice runs here!

I ran a really nice black C55 a couple of weeks back from 65 to 100 ish. I pulled on him by at least 3 car lenghts when I shut it down. We did this twice with the same results.

The guy had two passengers and I was alone and we gave each other's thumbs up after with his passengers waving. Fun times!

I'd take that 'boat' over my C32 any day of the week. The supercharged 5.5 in in a league of it's own. Best of both worlds with the E55 -- Raw torque and a luxurious sedan.

Don't ya just love the guys in their "executive cars" who think they're all that and get pissed when they get beat by a lowly C Class. I beat a Maserati and all I got was a finger?? They'll F with the C32 BUT not the Kleemann?? Cars dont look that much different

Did a GPS verified 143MPH run. The speedometer was showing 150MPH! Stock wheels, and tire size though?

Ya he was sooo upset that I basically beat him hands down THREE times....and the last time I was at a complete stop and he was probably rolling at 10mph and by 100mph I was a car length ahead of him.....car had 380hp stock but also weighs in at a whopping 4,600lbs. Too much of a fat a$$ to hang

An LS460 should NOT be even hanging with a C32. I've dusted 750i (13.7-13.9) before (but they can be tough). A 760i is a whole other story. The LS460 is a mid 14s car at 98-100 all day long. The 760L i is a low to mid 13 car at 106-108 so its right in our modded ballpark (but for $140 K large) it should be!!!
