C32 vs ...

Raced a Roush v8 Mustang, and modified 6.0 GTO tonight. Pulled on both of them. Few days back raced a modified WRX four times. Nearly dead even with a slight C32 pull top end 100+MPH.

Did you ever run a 1/4 mile on a track?

I'm glad that you like your car so much. It's commendable but 13.9 at 8000+ FT DA corrects to something around 13.2. Take a look at dragtimes and see how many C32s run in low 12s. Don't misunderstand me. I think with your mods you should be in the 12s, but 13.9 is high, even in your conditions.

The WRX should get you from a digg, BUT beyond that, you should pull on a lightly modded one.

How modded was the GTO??

+1, with those mods you should be seeing 12-6.12.8 all day long?? Even adjusting for DAs, Lenin is correct, there's a ton of C32s running in the mid to low 12s, ours included and I did mine without drag radials on OLD Pilot Sport IIs.

One of my friends out here also has a 2002 c32 silver just like mine. Code 3 pulley, Code 3 H/E, isolation, etc, he ran a 13.9 best lap. The GTO is n/a at this altitude loss of power compared to a supercharged engine. I had EC tune my ECU for 7000FT altitude. Is 13.9 slow at 8000+FT DA Eurocharged? Soon my ECU will be re-tuned to match my current modifications.

The WRX was not lightly tuned... Full exhaust, intake, and tune at the least. I'm sure more... From the dig I bet it easily runs low 12 high/mid 11 second in my area. Our races were between 60-80 start 120-145MPH nearly dead even until 110+MPH. The C32 has crazy top end. One time 65-154MPH... Acceleration remains nearly constant 105-155MPH.

The GTO, Roush Mustang, and C32 three races 40-100MPH. GTO was the slowest but didn't fall far behind...

Im not trying to peepee in your cheerios but yes, thats much to slow for your car. Even stock times should be better than that. An almost stock C43 can turn out those times with sticky tires and a good RT.

Just to define a low 12s, there are only two cars that are faster than 12.4.

My brother has a stock 6speed 5.7 GTO and I have a stock C32 AMG. I will outrun him from 0-70mph. From 70mph he will pull me and will be 2 cars lengths ahead by 120mph. Hard to run with LS1s

Probably the same one I raced. There were two G35's cruising. Both turbo. Smoked the one, and he's like race him (the other faster one). Smoked it as well...
