C32, 911 SC
I averaged around 26 mpg when I was 100% stock and did my 2300 miles road trip from Atlanta to Salt Lake City going mostly 75 mph.

Now that I am modified, it seems like the numbers went down a bit, but then it might be caused by my lead foot wanting to hear the loud SC whine

Back on topic, the V12TT is a force to be reckoned with. I would most definitely rock an SL600 with AMG package!

I don't know, the prices of the $190,000 S65 AMGs are starting to get quite enticing...................they're starting to see the high 30s, 40s and 50s now...........

Jerry and I (EC) played with this for a few months..................mileage went way up BUT the car was a proverbial DOG!!

OT, but the whole key is staying out of the SC and there's no reason not to get low to mid 20s.

I am telling you, they are enticing until you look into full coverage for them, not to mention S65 screams, STEAL ME! Only way I would do it is if I had the cash in hand for the car and the extended warranty, that way the insurance wouldnt run me into the ground.

I pay LESS on insurance for my S600 than I do for the wifes Ford Freestyle

And yes she has a clean record

So we are discussing MPG now? The 02' Sportcoupe I had 25 city 30+ highway. My C32 gets between 13-17MPH as of right now... 18 highway maybe. Few days back I went on a 300 mile trip mostly highway. No problems from the C32 running good. Trip back no issues until I'm nearly back into the city.

Battery/Alternator error... I make it to Autozone and pull the battery so they can charge it. It tested 8% charge! I had to wait over an hour. I also bought a charger there. Head to my friends house, and apparently the charger doesn't work? Either the alternator is bad, or this battery. I installed the battery less than six months ago...

Thankfully it didn't leave me stranded. I was on segments of highway 100's of miles between small towns. The huge mountain range I love to drive through on the way if car died, and no cell service... That would be great!

I didn't read through this whole thread, but I can tell you that unless you can afford thousands upon thousands you should not get into this vehicle. It's true that some may have no problems, but this car has many issues and I have seen them first hand. The ABC shocks will fail $3000 and the ABC pump will fail 1500 and an assortment of other problems. I had a customer that needed the ignition coil packs which on this vehicle are all integrated into each other each rack costs about 1500 as well. Those are just the common items if you have any major problems that I have also seen like with the turbos you are looking at repair bills that can be over 15k.
