Stock vs. stock in a drag race, I think it wold be driver skill. On the freeway, past 60, I think the C55 would pull. On a track, I think the BMW would win as it handles better.

Just my opinions!

No, I believe it, I mean at the absolute limits, the cars will be really close, but with normal amateur people, an M3 will be easier to control thru the twisties.
Again, just my opinion.

Only Code3 Pulley? It's not all it can be but that's far from stock.

the C55s have 20 more hp and at least 20 lb ft of torque than we do stock. Either way I'd really kill one now with my jerry tune. lol.

A C32's performance is dependant on amb. temperature. I've raced stock E46 M3's when it was 30+ degrees Celcius outside and very himid, 60kph roll to 160-170ish, lost very badly. Lost by a good 3-4 car lengths. I've also run an E46 M3 when it was around 20 degrees with almost no humidity. I beat the M3 by 1-1.5 car lengths. The C32 is very tempermental. The C55's performance is much more consistent since it's N/A. A C32 with moderate mods will smoke both cars no problem. Stock for stock, the C55 comes out on top.

When I brat both cars it was well over 80 degrees fahrenheit. My friend has an M3 & he's never beat me. I even have a video beating him in the 1/4 mile.

Anyway easy and affordable modification is why I went with a C32 over a C55. Stock a C55 is faster but you'd have to allot more to beat me now.

If I remember correctly, C55 will pull after 2 or 3rd gear...

i wanted to race my friend's e46 m3 on the drag strip, but the orginization wouldn't allow different class cars (V8 and six cylinder) to race

I had an E46 before I had my C55 and the C55 without question was faster in a straight line, I would guess at any speed in any scenario.

yah.....i know it's been said elsewhere, but you'll need to be s/c'ed to beat that. A JB3 335i picks up about 80whp over stock....and stock, 335is run mid-high 13s.

the most i have seen a N/A C55 pick up is 50-60ISH whp....headers, full true dual exhaust, intake, custom dyno tune, etc....and that was only running 12.7-12.8......JB3 (beta JB4) 335is are going to be quicker

fwiw, i saw a jb3 335i with downpipes put down 385 on the same dyno that i have put down consistently 350-355 and i run consistent 12.6s at about 112 (DA~3000)
