So which produces more hp and especially torque- Code 3 or a 185?

c32kompressor-might look into getting it machined I've heard a couple other people talk about this

Chris- your absolutely right about having a car to get to work with. Ok so no stacking pullies, got that now. I read about the kit on the needswings site, gave me a little insight into the whole system. Do you know anyone around us that could tune the car?

MyFirstAMG- Me (Mike ) and 02C32guy live near the exton/west chester area.Where in philly are you?We chould all get together when I get my car (tommorrow hopefully!) ) 2c32guy gave me a ride in his car before we grabbed beers at Victory Brewing. It was what sealed the deal on me wanting the car : ) His is black like I want but the one I'm looking at is Silver.

[QUOTE=ByeTurboS4;4533728]So which produces more hp and especially torque- Code 3 or a 185? BUT you're going to need a PSK from Needswings for this too!!! The 185 will make more powaa!!! Boost should be at 18-20 with the 185!!

Also whats the deal with running a wet shot of nitrous? Anybody do this on the regular? I know NO2 is used very safely when used correctly on some other forced induction cars. Or at least use it for an intercooler sprayer set-up

Newzchspy- I think the quote button went crazy! Your saying the 185 should be good for more power than than the SC pulley? I would get all the accompanying mods: pulley saver, the other pullies (I think come with the kit), prob intercooler separation and a new heat exchanger, and a tune. Im prob going to pick up all those parts and lower the car within the next week or two, hopefully. Any other mods that should be done right away? or could be done easily, quickly, or cheaply?

Dry kits are never a good idea for any car, especially forced induction, where detonation is such a looming fear. Would one of the kits just pretty much bolt on to the c32? likes a zex or Nos? Can any of the tuners tune for No2/

Why lower?? I wouldnt!! The C32 handles nowhere near as well as the C55 BUT no advantage to lowering other than appearance.

I cant stand wheel gap! Stock with stock wheels looks like not much gap (the C32 I'm looking at is one of the only ones I've seen in person, besides 02C32guys' car), but the current owner has some cheap looking 18's on it, and it makes the gap even worse. Do most 18 in. wheels create more gap on the c32? I understand that the total diameter of 17s or 18s should be the same size, with properly sized tires, but most of the time I swear wheel gap is more noticeable when you put bigger wheels on a car w/o lowering it.

Also Ill be ordering new rotors, sway bars, and control arm bushings in the next week. These are all need to be replaced to pass PA inspection, since the car's coming from MD. So any more recommendations, cheap places to buy from or tips to for performance replacements for these parts would be much obliged.

uh for tuning? uh....eurocharged? We have tuned more C32's/srt6's then anyone and know the car the best by far.

Yes glen has an amazing memory. I ran a 50 wet shot to the tb. I also recommend peps to do an additional fuel jet up from what is listed.

I dropped my 32 as well, couldnt stand the monster truck look.

EUROCHARGED FTW!

You cannot go wrong with them, they have the best tuning software for a C32 right now. Also totally changes how the car shifts! Before it would take 1.5 seconds per shift and now it takes .5 seconds!

Trust me, you will be hard pressed to find more stand up guys than Eurocharged.

If you contact Eurocharged they'll give you a list of shops they work with relatively near us. Last time I talked to Tony from EC he gave me a couple names in Jersey. Of course, we were in Jersey at the time, so he might have assumed I lived there. Also, they can do remote tuning or you can send them your ECU.

more info on this, please...

DIY for removing the supercharger pulley would be good too..

and what exactly do you ask for when you take it to the machine shop

so if we mill it down to 65 to 69mm...and leave all the other pullies the same... what kind of gains are we looking at?

With a tune and Code 3 pulley?? Prolly 30-40.....Maybe 50 with cooling mods since you can sustain the HP for longer with less heat soak....

Cooling wont give you more HP, it just lets you use what you have for longer...

Go with a 185 and a tune and you're near 50....

noob question. I just want to be sure.. is the 185 the supercharger pulley, or a crank/other pulley?

i was wondering what gains Id get just from milling down the supercharger pulley from 75mm (or whatever stock is) to about 65-69mm..

The question isn't as noob as not reading the whole thread before asking it. Check out post #3.

Got it.. just verifying

But still no answer to how much gains I would see by just milling down the SC pulley (and not changing the crank pullies)
