Newb, been studying this site for months now, couple ?s before I get my C32 on Tues
Welcome... you have a lot of questions.
They're good ones, and hopefully you find the folks around here to be pretty friendly and accommodating. c32used started an excellent compilation thread, stickied at the top, "newbies start here" - if you haven't already done so, I'd encourage you to read the parts you find interesting.Eurocharged does the most aggressive tunes for AMGs - hands down.
Jerry is one of the principals at Eurocharged (AFAIK). "Jerrytune" is a forum-coined phrase for having him tune your vehicle, so "Jerrytune" = Eurocharged tune (most of the time).
You switched to Renntech's tuning so you could make track adjustments to the maps? Knew you switched, but had heard a very different story/reason back then. OT for here, however.

8 read a lot of that newbie guide but has anyone rally looked at it lately, it does not have a ton of info. If you click the nitrous info link, it has a two post thrread that's says "can I run nos on my c32?" One reply that says "try it and let us know". I lol ed at that one.
Myfirst amg-what's your first name buddy? Where in cville do you live? Igrew up in dtown but I'm in west chester now. Id def be down for you me and chris to install the pulleys ecu and cooling mods.
I need sway bars, rotors, and control arm bushings asap. Some suggestions (upgrades if they're better than oem) would be great.
Ill be ordering (I think) H+R sways and maybe powerstop rotors and some type of bushings in the next three days.
In the next month or so ill be looking into a zex kit.
You're Welcome!!!
The code3 pulley is indeed the supercharger pulley. However, the 178, 181, and 185 are crank pulleys, and with them are included other pulleys that must be installed in conjunction with the larger crank pulley.
How it works? Code 3 SC pulley is smaller than the stock SC pulley, so it will rotate more frequently/faster and create more boost. There may be some belt slip because the belt size is the same but the pulley is a little smaller (decreased surface area)
The crank pulley kits generally make more power, though the Code3 makes similar power to the 178 kits. Larger crank pulley with the same size belt overdrives some of the components, and for that reason and fitment purposes, a different idler (with a special high speed bearing) and water pump pulley are included.
If you go with the largest crank pulley available (185), you must have (a) a tune, for safety purposes (b) and a heat exchanger, to realize anywhere near the full power, as you won't reach that without a larger heat exchanger. I would recommend getting the Needswings Pulley Saver Kit which saves the integrity of all of your pulleys essentially. I think that is absolutely a must do.
I would also recommended a step colder plugs as well as the 55 intake to increase the air going into the motor (again this is if you go with the 185 or 181). With a 181/185, your stock intake becomes a bottleneck IMO
hope that helps
