Is command plug and play?

So my C32 just has the standard radio in it (which sounds great) but I love the look of the command screen that some C32's have.

If I purchase a Command radio unit will it just plug right into the vehicle? Will my system still work and sound as well as it does now?

I have not purchased on yet. I was looking at this one here:

It looks to be pretty standard and pretty easy to find online.

I believe the command unit listed above went into the 2002 models so I'm guessing it should be plug and play...anyone?

The unit in your picture is from Europe. It should be plug and play. There are some differences in radio frequencies but you should be fine. Here is some reading for you http://www.mercupgrades.com/COMAND%20FAQ-faq-1.html#2

you need to get a new connector plug and rearrange the pins as well as get a NAV antenna. search for DIY in the 203 forum.
