How do I tell if my C55 has an ecu upgrade?

Drive someone elses c55 or get a dyno

log your RPM's and see if the limiter has been increased? Or try to hit top speed and see if it's limited lol...

Try going passed 160

where is the ecu located on this car?
The reason is because I pulled up next to a C63 with some crazy loud exhaust. We raced it from 0-120 and i beat it to 100 and once 120 came around it barely was inching on me. I thought something was wrong here.

Did the C63 just spun like a maniac? Even then, it will catch up sooner than later.

C55 would get smoked by a stock C63 no matter what mods it has, short of SC. If the C63 has tune and headers, that's it...

100% sure it was a C63? As others have pointed out, there is nothing short of a supercharged motor that would let you beat a C63, most certainly not just an ECU flash.

Was he parked when you raced him?

He did not spin. I actally pulled ahead of him probably around 30. Maybe his car was in "regular mode" and started out in second gear? I am just trying to figure this out...not trying to make claims on my car being anything special.

Also, I am not sure of the power of my car or how much this Brabus engine makes. Anyone know what they are supposed to make? It is the red colored one if that helps....

I echo the above statements. RE: Your "Brabus" engine... who knows whats been done. You'd have to send your VIN to BRABUS and see what they say. I'm sure they keep a record of all cars/clients. You could just have the engine cover, and nothing else.

It's a great car, but it is nowhere near the C63 in terms of performance.

ECU upgrades do not increase the limiter according to eurocharge when i got my tune done.

Limiter as in speed limiter? I can tell you that as of my last tune, about 6 months ago, they most certainly do remove the limiter.
