8 months and no pics. You aren't allowed to talk crap about anyones ride until you put yours out there to be scrutinized.

That seems likely.

This is sad. I personally come from the stance scene myself, and am in to all the slammed/stretched whatever cars, but I don't know how you can come to a Mercedes forum, first off, of which you don't find much in that scene as it is (more VIP merc's than anything), and then take a huge step further to an AMG section, where you get a group of guys who bought a car for performance, and expect them all to stance their cars? I'm all for stance, but when it comes to my C55, its function > form every day.

Quote: I don't understand how there are maybe three cars that actually look good on our site does anyone know what the word flush is????? I found maybe three cars that actually have coilovers that adjust and they know how to use them. People need to take out there tampons and buy some spacers and some new coils it looks better than all these stock cars on our pic thread we all know what a stock c32 looks like

I'd like to see someone on the east coast that actually drives their car that is in to stance. There's a pot hole outside of my development that you could lose a small child in.

This isn't the Honda forum, this forum is for the polar opposites, AMG.

To be fair I know a ton of guys who run static drops that you wouldn't believe in areas with terrible roads. They pay the price for it though. But at the same time, people who push their car's limits power wise also pay prices in terms of reliability. It's all about what you are into.

And before more people hate on the stance scene, its fine if its not your thing, no need to bash it. This guy is in no way a representation of the rest of the scene. Almost every guy I know would appreciate a well built car made for function > form, and I'm just trying to help grow appreciation in the opposite direction.

This is my problem. Do you think these are the kind of cars the stance scene produces? You all proving yourself to be as ignorant as this guy. Its sad to see that there isn't appreciation and tolerance across the car modification scene.

Proper stance.

I'd not take the car over 60 for safety reasons, but this is a clean look. There is nothing wrong with "stance" I guess, its just not something I'm terribly fond of.

Well, maybe a bit of a tangent, but that car is on air so he doesn't have to ride at that height

You're telling me that stretching narrow tires over really wide wheels poses no risk? Not just a risk to the driver but to those around him when something fails? Or wheels sitting at ridiculous negative camber? When a component fails because it was never meant to be used in that manner?

I know you could argue that adding massive horsepower to a vehicle makes it unsafe, but you can always drive an 800hp car at normal speeds with all safety measures in place.

I have an opinion, which everyone is entitled to one of their own, and my opinion is that stance and VIP look retarded and I will never accept nor associate with a member of that community.

Apologies for my ignorance, but what does "VIP" (Very Important Person/People) have to do with a car with enlarged wheels tucked up into the fenders, with rubber-bands for tires?

So technically... if one of your good friends decided to go VIP/herra ferrashu on you, you'd stop talking to them? just wondering, lol

I personally like some stance, but it gets a little over the top when you really lose functionality for the sake of looks.
