![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Recently fitted 2004 E55 wheels on my 2005 C55, front tires 245/40x18 rear tires 265/35x18. Front wheels needed a 5mm spacer to clear the brakes.
Problem: Apart from a slight vibration at about 70mph the only other problem is I cant set the speed control at any speed above 60mph. Also the "Resume" function does not work reliably. Is there any solution to the speed control problem? has anyone else had this problem. I am assuming its due to the over-sized and or mismatch size of the tires.
John
ps. I tried several search key words without much luck. I know there has to be some one out there who has had this problem.

Pretty sure he's talking about the tire width.

I got the spacers and wheel lug bolts from http://www.radusadirect.com/ and because of the size of the front hubs the are not centric. They are however a nice snug fit. I would also think that because of the depth of the hubs on the front that the wheel would also still be able to locate its self with no problems. But I fear you may be correct, I may have a slightly off-center spacer or wheel. Sucks as that's near impossible to fix.
As far as the front and rear track go in stock form the front track is 16.5mm wider each side than the rear. With the above wheels that changes to 23.5mm. However that's an increase in front track width of less than 1.5% and the rear increases by 0.5%

I would agree except all winter I ran Bridgestone Blizzack WS70 225/45x18 with no problems. Now I have Kuhmo XS 245/40x18 fronts and 265/35x18 rears.
Size Diameter
225/45R18 25.9 WS70
245/40R18 25.7 XS
265/35R18 25.3 XS
225/40R18 25.1 PZero
245/34R18 24.5 PZero
So the tires I have on now are closer to stock than the winter tires I had been using?
