C55 AMG T with Kleemann K2 and some stuff: 414 hp and 562 Nm :-)
I´m not sure about that..

But what I understand, C-class cars equipped with sunroof
have this feature.
It´s got nothing to do with the automatic
"rainwiper-thing".

One thing one could try is to leave the sunroof completely
open for more than 12 hours and see what happens?
And next thing to waterswamp your windscreen?

Yes
Interesting, so if its cracked, it won't close automatically. Only if its actually open.

I've definitely left mine vented during rain....no rain got in, and it didn't close.

Like Brandon said, I don't leave them on all the time. I just turn it on if it looks like rain. They beat the hell out of having to constantly change intermittent wiper speeds.
my rain sensing wipers suck. that is all.

Yeah, in Seattle... not so good. Perhaps I just need new blades. Do the blades cross the sensor at any time in their sweep? I can't remember...
