C32 vs. JB4 135i

135i: JB4 on map 7 with 110octane, short shifter and that's it.
My C32: mods in signature.

1st gear roll ~10mph, 135 pulled on me about 2+ car lengths.

2nd gear roll~40mph, 135 pulled about 4 or more car lengths.

The 135 with the juice box is no joke. I don't know how much of a difference map 7 and 110 octane made for him over the 91 octane and regular map but it was no contest for my car. I was extremely surprised, especially because he didn't tell me about the 110 octane and other map until after we ran haha. Makes me want to get something faster now o_0

I'll post the video in a bit, it was nighttime so they may be hard to see anyways.

terry did a great job making those JBs. they've really caught on and they make a crap load of power. heck of a price too

i'm not too familiar with the JB setups anymore, but fwiw, i found a 135i on dragtimes that was stock other than having JB3 2.0 18ohm Map 10 running 109.

upon further searching, i came across that Map 7 is for "16.5psi. A light weight race map. 100 RM2 octane required."

furthermore, terry (sorry, the guy who designed/invented the juiceboxes of burger tuning) claims that with that map and all else stock, he has reports of people trapping anywhere between 104mph to 118mph depending on transmission, driver skill, tire setup, and DA

can't wait for the vid/s.

and hate to say it, but those little tt 6s (n54 motor iirc)...those are legit. i wish mb decided to put that tt v8 in the new C63 like it had been briefly rumored. oh well

Great runs. Those I6 TT's are very quick. I've considered a 335i with a 6spd myself.

And more power? It'd be cool for someone to figure out a way to turbo these things

very legit, how they hold up will be the true test. I have heard of trouble with overheating and things of that sort with more boost and no cooling mods to go with, sounds about right.

the tt v8 would have been a great choice for the C63, lots of possible potential for aftermarket goodies.

335's are cool, but Im not a huge fan of the way they look. They do have great potential as well though.

a turbo would be nice for the 32, or even making it a 3.7 and throwing a kenne bell on there would be titttts.

videos should be up tonight! waiting for him to send them to me.

M1 is the N54 (tt)-making 320hp (underestimed by BMW).
I was running a beta jb1 on my '11 135i convert DSG-made it much much faster.
