And supporting mods and tune? How much did it change from the stock car? Anyone ever make a low octane tune or a tune with gas milage in mind to be switched back and forth with a 93 octane and 100 octane tune? Actually I'd be interested in hearing MPG from anyone with modifications. TIA

I've been getting around 18-18.5 mpg combined 50/50 city/highway. My mods are listed on my sig plus heavy 19 inch Brabus replica.
The best I've gotten was 24.5 on the freeway on average. Now that I think about it, the car has been getting the same gas mileage pre and post mods.
I'd say DO IT!

ByeTurbo, i think it really depends on your driving. if u drive more aggressively after modding, which i think many/most do, it is likely that your MPG will drop since ur hitting more boost, needing more fuel, etc.....but it is still possible to get 23-25 highway and 16-18 city
a while back i was in the process of trying to completely shut off the s/c for long road trips or times when i don't need it so the gas mileage would be awesome, but the project was never completed successfully, though i may attempt it again in the future

Thanks for the replies guys. So it looks like people are only losing maybe a couple miles a gallon, obviously more if your gettin on it. Anyone ever mess with a low boost/de-tuned tune? I'm definitely doin it, this just seals the deal even more. How is resale value with pulleys on it? Obviously no one could put a number on it, but anyone ever go to sell, and really wish they hadn't modded?
