I ordered a set of 5.5 AMG emblems a couple weeks ago now, via the following website.

http://folex618.tripod.com/

Ive sent him a number of E-Mails in regards to shipping to Canada and what not, havent gotten one reply... unfortunatly I have already paid for my two emblems and havent received a shipping confirmation E-Mail.

Im starting to think his site is a huge scam....can anyone enlighten me?

I think folex is a stand up guy. The "5.5 AMG" badges I got from him were shipped quickly and better than expected. Lot's of people on this forum have had good experiences with him. Good luck with your order!

From my research he's sold a ton of those things, and many many members found them to be very high quality. Hopefully things will work out

Ive had a set of them on my car since he had the original batch made a few years back. they are still on the original 3m adhesive, and look as good as new. If they are made out of the sates (Taiwan), maybe he is just waiting for a batch to come in? Unanswered email is def frustrating though.

Sorry to say, but all the positive comments are from guys who bought a long while ago. This guy never responded to any e-mail I sent him so I decided not to place the order. I just don't think he's making these anymore. I'm sure he was a standup guy when he was actively selling He's not been on these forums since sometime in 2010 - last time I checked.

You may want to initiate an investigation or dispute the charge through paypal and see where that goes.

I do not believe anyone else is offering these badges online.

Good luck.

I bought an /////AMG emblem off of ebay and had a similar experience, not with the same seller, but the seller never replied to any emails I had sent. I initiated a dispute through ebay and won as the seller never responded to ebay.

A week later the emblem arrived! So not only did I get my money refunded but I also got the emblem (and it was a quality piece as well )

Finally something going wrong in MY favor

Paypal should have a dispute protocol. Make sure you are aware of the various deadlines though if you follow that course of action.

That is good to hear. I wonder why he doesn't respond to e-mails and yet is still making these items. Whatever the reason glad you are getting the fender emblems. Put up some pics once installed.

Folex is a long time forum member and is legit. I got all my badges from him. You just have to be a lil patient.
