EDIT..Ok sorry Evo Sport you guys are doing the GB..cool and to any ebay shopper thinking they get a real AMG kit for under 700 should double check..

If it's any consolation, people are spending 30-50% more than original MSRP for their xenon headlamps. 
$700's is a steal for any brake upgrade, although, you get what you pay for, and having read the post you're in reference to, I some how doubt they're receiving the full AMG spec upgrade as a part of the packaged deal.

I do have a C32 and a C200K, We paid US$100,000 for our C32 but that doesn’t give me the right to call anyone “Jackass with 55000 C32”… right??.

i totally agree. name calling is uncalled for and rude not just to one person, but everyone who owns a c class (non-AMG) and especially those who did the brake upgrade. if we're old enough to drive a BENZ and have enough money to afford one, lets atleast show some maturity. calling people a jackass just cause they want a bargain/good price for something YOU payed more for is not our fault. let face it, a c32 is 20 times better than a c class, so whats the big deal if we get some "extra" parts. seriously, very uncalled for!!!!

I think his issue is that when C32 parts are so cheap and easily accessible it makes him feel like he paid too much for his car so he lashes out. To us lesser beings, the C32 brakes are a great bargain, Brembo quality for 1/4th the price. Personally, I don't think I need them as the stock brakes with the Porterfield pads are good enough for me. But I do have the AMG sway bars, hope that doesn't offend C32 people, afterall, I bought them because they were cheap, half the price of the Eibachs.

Thats pretty sad dude. I drive a C43 and I have people on the W202 forums doing the C43/E55 brake upgrades and I never thought it was so bad. Its always nice when people are modding and doing brake upgrades on any car no matter what the price is. If they can get a deal thats great.
And why would I be a Jackass for doing the brake upgrade on my C240? Did you pay $25,000 for your C240? I doubt it. Also, who are you to say I cant buy a C32? Or call me a kid? I only bought the C240 because it was the only C class that was stick at the time and there wasnt any C32 in 2001. Like I said, I OWN a C43, bought it new from the dealer in 1999 at Keyes European. Previous car to the C240 was a 1995 C36 which I also bought NEW from Calstar motors. For a person who just went from a C240 to a C32, why are you so mad about people doing brake upgrades?

I can't believe that someone who drives a car as nice as the C32 is bent out of shape over people upgrading their cars with some of the same stuff on his car!

Hi folks, let's put an ice cube in the room.
I think Vader became too excited after the few burnout videos.
Any upgrades to our C's is an attempt to embrass the non-MB fleets; a chance to unleash the potential of this little machine. So, let's re-focus on issues that will bring our cars to better that of the competitors; and flame whoever disrespects MB.
That said, BMW is still the worst!
